Desafio
Transmitir através dos elementos da marca, de forma clara e objetiva, o conceito do café especial, desde o seu plantio até o cultivo e comercialização no ponto-de-venda, bem como criar um símbolo único que lembrasse o nome da família Dutra Rocha.
Solução
A ideia foi criar elementos gráficos para representar "o nome da família e o café". A metade de um grão de café estilizado formou a letra D da família Dutra e juntamente com uma folha de café a letra R da família Rocha. A duplicação desses elementos invertidos, resultou no símbolo final que representa além dos nomes das famílias, o início do plantio do café através das folhas e o ponto final na sua comercialização através do grão torrado.

A brand specialized in the production and roasting of Specialty Coffee
The challenge
To transmit through brand elements, straightforward and clear, the concept of a specialty coffee, from its seedling to cultivation and its commercialization in the point of sale, as well as to create an unique symbol which reminds the name of the Dutra-Rocha’s family.
The solution
The main idea was to create graphical elements in order to represent “the name of the family and the coffee”. A stylized half of a coffee bean shapes the letter D of the Dutra’s family and along with a coffee plant leaf it also shapes the letter R of the Rocha’s family. By duplicating and inverting the position of those elements, the result is the final symbol which represents the name of the families, the beginning of the coffee growing portrayed by the leaves and the final point of its commercialization depicted by the roasted coffee bean.

O símbolo representa a metade de um grão de café torrado formando a letra "D" inicial da família Dutra.

O símbolo final é formado pela junção invertida dos elementos gráficos. Representa as letras D e R das famílias, bem como o início do plantio (folha do café) e a etapa final na comercialização (grão de café torrado).

The final symbol is shaped by the combination of both graphical elements. It depicts the letters D and R of the families, as well as the beginning of the coffee growing (coffee plant leaf) and the final stage of the commercialization (roasted coffee bean).
